3D Imaging in Anatomy Education

Technological advancements in 3D imaging have transformed anatomy education, providing immersive and accurate depictions of human structures. This session presents current applications of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and 3D modeling in medical and allied health training. Attendees will explore the benefits of these tools in visualizing spatial relationships, enhancing student engagement, and improving knowledge retention. Integration with cadaveric dissection, digital atlases, and simulation-based learning will be discussed. Challenges in implementation and future directions, including AI-driven anatomy platforms and haptic feedback technologies, will be addressed in the context of modern curriculum development.
